Why I started it
Tiny Adventures began with a problem I kept running into as a parent. There are thousands of places to explore with children, but finding the right one is surprisingly difficult. A brilliant playground for a four-year-old can be useless with a one-year-old. One family wants animals and climbing; another needs accessibility, public transport and somewhere to get coffee.

A park, with the context families need
Built around your family
The product learns who is going, how they travel and what they enjoy. It turns that into a personalised feed and explains why each place fits. Families can still browse a map or curated themes, but the useful question is not only what is nearby. It is where everyone will have a good time.
Parents can rate places and add observations after a visit. Feedback carries context such as a child’s age, helping other families judge whether a place might work for them too. The recommendations become better as the community explores.
Personalisation starts with the family

From idea to working product
I created Tiny Adventures as one connected product: strategy, UX, interface, personalisation, brand, character direction, content, photography, video, data structure and the admin tools used to grow it. I visit and document places myself, and built the squirrel as a guide so the experience feels like an invitation to explore rather than a municipal database.
The product is live in Sweden, beginning with playgrounds and growing toward museums, activities and other small family adventures.
